LCCA Illuminated London Eye in Red and Gold for the Year of the Dragon

On 8 February 2024, the iconic London Eye was dazzled in red and gold, with rotating lights creating a stunning visual effect that resembled a dancing dragon. Organised by the London Chinatown Chinese Association (LCCA) to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, the event featured the debut of the Chongqing Tongliang Dragon — a traditional Chinese dragon dance known for its high-energy movements and intricate costumes. The performance captivated the audience, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Chinese culture. Both Mr Chu Ting Tang OBE, LCCA Chairman, and Scott O’Neill, CEO of London Eye agreed that the celebration further strengthened cultural ties between the UK and China
